Group Statement

After more than five years, we have decided that the time has come to disband the South Stand Flags group and in doing so open the opportunity for the next generation to take a lead on the atmosphere in the South Stand. 

We would first and foremost like to thank everybody who has backed what we have tried to achieve over this time, whether it has been by donating to our fundraising, picking up a flag on a matchday or helping to set up and clear up displays. There are too many people to name but you know who you are.

We will be working with the club and other supporters’ groups to ensure that our flags and banners are put to good use in the future. We hope that they will provide the ultimate head start to any group which forms in our place and that flag displays will continue to be a feature of the South Stand for years to come.
