Back in the summer of 2019 we launched our group and with it our first crowd-funder. With a target of £500, the crowd-funder surpassed all expectation, with over £1000 being raised – money which funded the purchase of around 60 flags which have been in use in the South Stand all season.
We are now delighted to have gained permission from STFC to start doing ‘tifo’ style pre-match displays in safe standing block 9. These are one-off hand-painted banners and flag displays unique to certain games.
In order to achieve this, we first require the materials – and this is where our second crowd-funder comes in. We have done the sums and require £350 to purchase the materials required to start doing basic displays – anything more will enable us to expand our scope and create more impressive spectacles.
The crowd-funder launches on Friday 6th March 2020 and we hope Salopians will once again back us in helping to provide colour to matchdays in the South Stand. Come on You Blues!
